Holiday Mandala

I decided to try Sharpie pens for color this time and I like them.   I named it ‘holiday mandala because when I was done, it just reminded me of summer holiday colors and shapes.

Butterfly Mandala

I always do my mandalas with gelpens, but thought it might be interesting to try it with watercolor.   I did not know that gelpens are water-soluble, thus the wet-looking butterflies and flowers.  Kind of fun.   Reminds me of putting it under glass to get a slight distortion.
