Butterfly Mandala

Filed under: gelpens, mandala — teric @ 9:17 am

I always do my mandalas with gelpens, but thought it might be interesting to try it with watercolor.   I did not know that gelpens are water-soluble, thus the wet-looking butterflies and flowers.  Kind of fun.   Reminds me of putting it under glass to get a slight distortion.

  3. I am fascinated by three things- butterflies, mandalas and tattoos- I am trying to combine the three- I envision a butterfly with those longer wings and its wings filled with mandala designs- I do not know how to paint or draw- any ideas?
