The prompt at One Single Impression this week is “Through a Window” suggested by ‘Over Good Ground’.
‘The stained glass windows
Are awash with happiness
And prisms of joy!’
Please excuse my slightly wonky circle, my pen got away from me
Thanks for visiting.

We discover rainbows when light is mysteriously broken open by prisms. What joy comes from the opening up. This is wonderful, Teri. Thanks.

Wonderful Rose Window mandala. The haiku is lovely.

beautiful, both the mandala & the words. stained glass is such a mesmerizing thing to me, especially with sunlight streaming through or as twilight falls through it

Stained glass windows do have that sort of personality! I never thought of it like that before. Very nice!

I like how they bring colour in an often grey and cold world.

Lovely! I love stained glass… and it does seem like a way light finds a kind of joyful creative expression of its many parts… or – and as someone pointed out – the wonder of rainbows.

I was thinking about stained glass windows too Teri. Your mandala is great, but I just love the haiku.

lol on your “wonky circle” – you’re too funny! Lovely piece – stained glass has a voice of it’s own, doesn’t it? They seem to sing the very joy you mention!

There is something special about mandalas and stained glass windows. I think your ku captures it well.

I think the wonk gives this Mandala life. I can imagine a cell wall being pushed and prodded from the inside by little prisms of joy.
Thank you.
