The prompt at One Single Impression this week is ‘Stairway’ suggested by ‘Quiet Paths’.
Two haiku came to mind with this prompt.
Stairway to heaven
Scattered with love all the way
Given and received
Then:
The road can be rough
But you can smooth it with love
So climb that stairway
Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by. I have been having computer access problems but will try to visit you.

Teri, Thanks for these and, as always, for the wonderful mandala. You are a source of inspiration every Sunday.

Potter rocks. To this day. I love that she cared so deeply for kids and stories and that she made sure the beauty around her would be safe from exploitation. A genius and a credit to your country, to be sure.
Thanks, Queenie!

Stairways lead to or direct us upward…. advantageous structures giving widening horizons.

One foot in front of the other, always! With luck, we’ll be holding the hand of someone who loves us!

Teri, these are very nice. I tried to order them as to my likes, but I believe they can stay, the pretty mandala, the truthful stairway to heaven, and finally that tough one and it’s road.
Thank you for your reading my little poem. BTW, I have seen this mandala, I think I came yesterday, probably before you had your haiku added.

Really great, Teri in both visuals and words. I love the idea of the steps being built of gifts and also of gifts having been received.
