You are the romantic Teri. I love this and the symbolism of all the mandalas, out of this world.
This image is “out of this worldly’ awesome – (that really doesn’t make sense I know, but it is what came to me on seeing it.) I love the vivid, almost neon, colours against the pitch black.
I tend to be obtuse about poetry, but I think this says, shortcuts to love are not the best way to find real happiness and love. The real kind takes time and work, (not something we in our present times like to hear, but true).
Then, I realize I may have this wrong…but I still love it.
Brenda
I love it all! Your romantic words and this out of this world drawing…you’ve outdone yourself Teri. Wonderful! And thanks again for the inspiration this week at OSI, should be fun reading all the interpretations. Hope you enjoyed mine too.
Thanks ladies.
Lisa, yes I am ever the romantic.
Geraldine, thanks, and your interpretation is wonderful.
Brenda, that is the beauty of poetry, however it strikes you is the way to interpret it and I love how it struck you!
It certainly is. Nice one.
so thoughtful – there is no shortcut to love….we all know that now……
I really like your shortcut to love idea. It would be good for the moment but could be all H*ll to pay for the rest of their lives.
Your mandala drawing/painting is wonderful. I am glad the shooting star missed our planet.
