‘Spectacles’ Mandala

August 25, 2012

The prompt at One Single Impression this week is ‘Spectacles’ as suggested by Locomente.

You know I had fun creating a mandala with this wonderful prompt.

My haiku:

Lay down some color
Spray on the water to create
A bright spectacle

and another came to mind as well:

Color explosion
Now that is a spectacle
Behold and enjoy

Oh so pretty. Love the color effects in this one. And your words accent it perfectly.
Wasn’t this an interesting prompt? Loved the two meanings to work with that are so diverse.

Mr. Cheddar told me to mention he is going to be featured in a very funny photo over at Happy Break tomorrow. He wants to know his auntie’s opinion!!! ;) He is sitting on my lap as I type this.

    Happy Weekend, G

    Teri,
This is bright, and cheerful – both the mandala, and poems!

Teri, I like your ‘spectacle’ mandala and both your haikus for this. :)
The mandala is different from your usual. Did you really color it by spraying?
