Resolve Mandala

August 24, 2008

The prompt at One Single Impression this week is ‘resolve’ as suggested by Christine at Quiet Paths.

I resolve to look
In every dream for your face
And know you still care

Ever the romantic πŸ™‚

Yes, very romantic, a little sad and hopeful at the same time

..the conviction of ur haiku adds appeal to its’ simple statement.as for the mandala,[with a confession that i am no art critic]i feel as a lay person that it’s very lovely.[i also wonder what ‘rosvila’ with her skills relating to ‘interpretation of dreams’ might decipher from ur art work]..thank u teri..

I hope Rosvila stops by to interpret it also. I have no idea what part of my mind they come from πŸ™‚

Thanks all, and a hug back to Sjimmie πŸ™‚

A beautiful sentiment – as is the mandala.

Beautiful. Romance with just a tinge of sadness (or maybe I’m projecting that).

You are certainly the romantic. I love to read your romantic thoughts. They often touch a chord in my heart.

I love how the mandala resolves into large images and the dissolves back into singularities. The poem is wonderfully romantic.

That is GORGEOUS! What a beautiful love.

A very romantic and pretty poem, but I’m betting you can’t do that! πŸ™‚

Interesting – the first view of the mandala caused a bit of shiver – snakes came to mind. How strange is that? Lovely romantic words!

This one is my new favorite. I would name it The Turquoise Trail. Great work, Teri.

wow, wow and the hits just keep on coming with you Teri. This one has so much motion in it. The longing and the playfulness.

Thank you everyone. After I did this haiku, and I never quite know where they are coming from, I realized it was about my first husband who has been gone for many years, and yet, I never really stop thinking about him. Strange how these things come to the surface when we least expect them.

Wistfulness can be found in your lines. Lovely.

hi teri, lovely ku w/lotsa sentiment…dig yr mandela, the colors of course are exquisite as always… but i could not help but ponder the space inbetween… and now that i read yr last comment it makes sense why there is space in yr mandala… not that it’s awkward space, just space…a peculiar subtle space..

It is always good to be the romantic! Dreams are wonderful places to cultivate romance!

    The mandala is delightful,as always.
This time tho, I’d say your poem is the star.
    Thanks, Teri!
