“Wings Mandala”

March 12, 2011

I am joining a new Haiku site today called ‘Haiku Heights‘ where the prompt is ‘Wings’.

I recently visited the butterfly exhibit at the Tucson Botanical Gardens so ‘wings’ was an easy prompt to write and the mandala just about drew itself.  I have been in such a mandala/haiku mood lately.

Pretty butterflies
Are nature’s gift to us all
Those wings of color
