“Triple Mandala”

March 19, 2011

Trying something new
I am combining three prompts
Into one circle

Is it your command
To create a mandala
That is full of joy?

Your wish is made known
Blooming daisies and blue sky
Let your eyes enjoy

It’s impossible
Mandalas aren’t sarcastic
Just round and loving

They are filled with joy
Not misrepresentation
Just round and happy

Now wasn’t that fun
All those prompted words are here
To give you delight

Prompts of my favorite haiku sites

Haiku Heights is Command

One Single Impression is Sarcastic

Poetry Potluck is Lies, deception and misrepresentation

That’s good, Teri. šŸ™‚ At first I looked at the mandala to find three somethings. Not finding what I was looking for, I read your words in the verses. You are pretty clever to blend them all in.

Round and loving mandalas are not sarcastic. Neither am I but the young lady who golfed with us surely was towards her father. And I don’t blame her one bit. I’d let my kid have fun (girls just wanna …).
