“Art Mandala”

April 24, 2011

image

The theme at Poetry Potluck this week is art, music and poetry.
Thanks for choosing these topics, they are close to my heart and it was so fun to write this set of haiku.  And the mandala of course.

Little did I know
My life would be invaded
By a love for art

 First I tried pencil
Close behind came ink
Then watercolor

Enter mandalas
Haiku followed right behind
Then they got married

An offshoot from that
The mandalas grew
To share other poems

My sketchbooks are full
Now I have a book of poems
Art loves poetry

Color me happy
Inspiration all over
Now I can share it

Thanks Jingle and Poetry Potluck!
