August 14, 2011

image

The prompt at One Single Impression this week is ‘Silence’ as suggested by Shall.

The desert silence
Is broken by cactus blooms
Rustling in the wind

Silence was a wonderful prompt!  Thanks Shall.

A beautiful barrel (?) cactus bloom. I can’t imagine much noise in the desert. Love the haiku. It was funny that I was wrestling with a similar thought last night.

    Teri,
This mandala is wonderful, the colours so vivid, and yet simple I think. I also really enjoy the words.
