About Teri

I have been having a love affair with mandalas since 2006.  I discovered the joy in doing these while I was pursuing my sketching and watercolor painting.   I have my art blog at Teri’s Painted Daisies.  My mandalas needed their own Blog so I created this one just for them.

Click here to see where I explain my process of how mandalas and haiku came together.

As I progressed in creating mandalas I found myself writing haiku for each mandala and now I can’t do one without the other.  Jamie of Jingle Poetry interviewed me here if you want to read more about the process.

Thanks for stopping by.  You may contact me here.

Enjoy your site, Teri. I discovered Mandalas years ago and painted them back then. I love the idea of wedding them with a bit of poetry and blogging them.

Thanks for liking my type of art and poetry. Maybe it is time for you to try it again. It is so satisfying to combine the two.

Very cool art, and haiku. I love haiku myself, and love how you have connected the two. Nice.

Hi Teri, I have been enjoying your art this morning but especially these mandalas with poetry- gorgeous! I have been interested in mandalas for a while now and do some simple ink ones. I have really enjoyed browsing your blogs! Keep up the beautiful work 🙂
