Day 3 of Mandala Magic using concentric circles.
Gracefully swooping a round
And daisies again’
Funny how those daisies keep showing up!😊
I am taking Julie Gibbons 5 days of Mandala Magic Even though I’ve been doing them a long time it’s still fun and enlightening plus a great form of meditation to know yourself better.
As I started this first one, I wrote this haiku:
The essence of life’
Then as I progressed I wrote this haiku:
Creating a new design
At the end I wrote;
‘Yet, in conclusion
With all the geometry
It’s still a Daisy’
😄😄😄. Used my new fountain pens
#inktober #haikutober Day 27
I am still enjoying making mandalas so I stayed with it. I can’t seem to get on Arizona time and have been waking up at 4-5am so I go for a walk, eat breakfast and start a mandala. My jet lag from Wisconsin (2 hours) won’t let up.
‘Thoughts swirling around
Crashing into each other
Pens:TWSBI, Lamy, Piper Cub, Micron and colored inks
#inktober #haikutober Day 26
Yesterday I committed to Julie Gibbons ‘5 days of Mandala Magic’ starting in November. I got in the mandala mood and did this one. I’m definitely ready for mandalas now.
‘Circles and echoes
Blue, red and black harmony
3pens and 3 different color inks
#inktober #haikutober Day 10. And Cactus Monday
A desert Agave Mandala
When their flowering is done
The end is coming’
Playing with color and then thinking ‘Cactus Monday’ and haiku:
Full moon over the desert
A moon to wish on’
